So I'm moving to the place in the world God has created specifically for me. Yep. I've got my excited pants on (Ryan).

Today my mom, Billy, and I all loaded up into my stang and spent the day in Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley, WV. My mission was to find an apartment. First we went to Siriani's for pizza and orange cream sodas. Heil erg Lekker! Then we started the apartment search...there was not a single apartment for rent in the entire town of Davis, WV. Next we went to Thomas, WV which is 2 miles away. I had an appointment to see the only available apartment in town, but the woman didn't have the key so we had to climb underneath the deck and peep in the windows. Unfortunately, the renter also doesn't know if the current tenant will be able to move out by the time I'm supposed to move in. Bummer.

Things weren't looking so great so I suggested that we go to the Purple Fiddle, my favorite coffehouse. We got some drinks and talked to one of the workers to see if he knew of any available apartments. Same story- all of the apartments were gobbled up in Oct and it's impossible to find an apartment this time of year. Two ski resorts are within 10-15 miles. Then I saw my friend Becky walk from the back of the store. We were in a bluegrass band together in high school and I haven't seen her for a year or so. She lives in Thomas, works at the Purple Fiddle, and is friends with most of the Alldrege employees. She's going to try to find me a roommate and if she can't find me one then I can crash on her floor until the apartment I looked at today becomes available. Cool huh?

My car super sucks in the snow so my mom is going to let me borrow her car until I can sell my car and get a different one, or until I can find people that can give me a ride to work when the weather is bad.

As far as I know I start work on Feb 2nd. That's this coming Thursday. If you live in WV, and I know you, you should come and hang out with me in Thomas. There are lots of cool things to do!

I got to talk to Adeleida last night! I even got to say hi to Meghan really quick. It was so cool! I'm praying for you guys at the Shelter. Guess what. One of the guys we talked to in Davis said the town could really use a youth hostel...hmmm.

Anyway, have a good night. I have some work to do.

Do you know Preston's family has a cabin about 5-10 miles from Canaan State park? They may let you stay there until you find an apartment. The only thing is that the family gets together for a couple of weeks in July and you would probably have to leave. They may actually like have someone there to keep everyhing in running order.
