It's been a while...
Sorry I haven't posted for a while...
I started teaching Thurs, Jan 5th. My first day was awful. I've been called in to teach music twice since then and each time has been better than the last. I was in the county's computer system wrong so I've only been called out to teach 3 times in the past two weeks. Hopefully I'll get more work from now on.
I have 6 guitar students which is hillarious because I don't exactly play guitar. Luckily they don't either because they're beginners. I taught 5 lessons back to back on Thurs and I had a lot of fun. It's just too bad I'm so horrible at guitar.
I am now the hospitality coordinator for Billy's college church, h20. For you Amsterdammers, the church is under the same parent organization as the Zolder. I'm also leading a "self-confrontation" study after the church service. We had 6 girls show up this week and 2 more may join us next week. The self-confrontation course is very meaty study. Everyone in the study has been matched up with an accountability partner. We're going to go deep and it should be really good.
It is so good to be back in West Virginia! I'm really thriving here. Hope all is well over at the Shelter! One of my good friends is going to apply to work at the Shelter. She won't be able to start until Sept so none of you will work with her.
Love you!

This blog was actually posted on Mon, Jan 16th.
hahaha
I should try back-dating my blogs too. Then it wouldn't seem like the lulls were as long.
Glad to have you back Melissa!!!
Melissa, it's good to read that you're thriving in West Virginia!
I guess your re-entry went pretty well :)
Love you and praying for you!
It's really good to be back Billy.
Francien, I'm really not much better than a beginner. I made more mistakes than my little 8 year old student today. He asked me if I'll still be his teacher when he gets better. I told him "yes" and I was probably a little short with him.
Nynke- I've been reading your blog. I hope you're doing well with your new life in Amsterdam!
