Future Adventures
Today I registered for an outdoor leader program that will take place this summer in the hills of North Carolina. Backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, Wilderness First Responder Certification, leadership, solo, Leave No Trace minimum-impact techniques, service project, workshops, and a personal challenge event. June 20- Aug 3. I have to send my scholarship application in and I'll know in 2-3 weeks what kind of money they'll throw my way. Hopefully a full ride.
I had to calculate all of my assets and debts for the scholarship application. You look really poor on paper when you're a dependant volunteer for 8 out of 12 months. My dad and I had a few good laughs about my finances, which maybe is a little disconserting since he's a financial advisor.
Today was my day off. I had a great time at Bagels and Beans with Adeleida. I've learned a lot from that dutchie.
I tried to go to bed once which was unsuccessful. I guess I'll have to stay up and read "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."

Potter, me and tara grimm maybe living in NC at that time if so we should hook up sometime if you are not out snaring rabbits and eating berries. but sounds like a blast good luck with the scholarship
