Help
Ok, does anyone know if US Airways REALLY enforces their baggage dimensions? Has anyone traveled with a suitcase that is over the dimensions without paying the fee? Or do they actually pull out the measuring tape to see if your bag is over? I can get this nice big suitcase for free but I think it's a little too big. I need a bigger suitcase because I am going home with more stuff than I came with. I guess if they do slap me with a $90 fine then it would be like buying this suitcase for $90.
One of our guests needs a suitcase so then I can give him my smaller one. Hmmm. Any feedback/advice would be much appreciated. US Airways doesn't have a phone number on their web site or an e-mail address for a real person. Kind of annoying.

Hello, Melissa. One of our instructors here at the aviation school used to work in the airlines industry. He said that "Yes, most carriers will measure" your luggage and charge you extra. He said it might just be easier to pay the charge and be done with it, instead of having to stand in line(?) - clueless, haven't been on a plane in 25 years! Anyway, I can have him email you later, if you'd like me to. Can't wait to see you!
Love,
Aunt Lynn
Thanks, that helps. Don't worry about having him e-mail me. I'll just use my smaller suit case. I'll make it work.
Could you ship some stuff via mail?
Hey MP maybe billy and his people could bring some back for ya just a thought later
